The process by which efforts are made to ensure equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of their background in order to achieve their full potential in life is what AFQueT concern is with. Inclusion refers to various disadvantaged groups ranging from persons with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and persons living below the national poverty line, women to dropouts from school. Each group needs specific access and support strategies in order to meet their needs. TVET providers need to transform into inclusive institutions to be able to increase the access of the disadvantaged persons to TVET courses.<br>\nThe Target 5 of the SDG 4 seeks to ensure equal access to TVET at all levels for persons with disabilities along with other vulnerable groups. Access to TVET is a sensitive issue for people with disabilities. In many African countries, there are segregated TVET settings with few options for learners with special educational needs and learning disabilities. AFQueT seeks to promote access to TVET for people with disabilities.
